She is looking forward to visiting high schools in New York City as well as Orange County, NY where she was raised to spread this message.
We believe that confidence and courage are trends that never go out of style. We work with the NSCC and their BullyBust programming to fight bullying nationwide. So when we found out Courtney was taking time to spread this message we all agreed she had to be our next muse of the week! Thank you Courtney for being our Muse of the Week. Learn even more about Courtney below in Stacy Igel's BTS Q&A interview:
1. Are you a Subway or Car (via, uber, lyft) girl?
I am more of a Car girl.
2. Favorite spot to be creative?
My favorite spot to be creative is walking through New York City seeing all types of talent.
3. Causes you advocate for?
I advocate for anti-bullying, teen abuse, and youth finding their voice
4. Favorite quote?
"Be who YOU want to be NOT what someone else wants you to be"
5. Tell us about your last moment you shared with someone?
The last moment I shared with someone was at a Teen Exposure event. A young girl mentioned to me that she wanted to be a model but her parents would never approve of it and her friends would probably make fun of her. And I told her: "Yes we all want to please our parents but we have to please ourselves as well." So try out modeling on the side so you never live with the "what if?" feeling. And as far as your friends go, if they are your real friends they will support you. I keep in contact with her and she is going to model as well as focus on school.
