Where was the last time you performed before this performance?
"My last performance was last night. I was performing with famous 60’s Band, The Strawbs at their 50th Anniversary Concert. We played at the gorgeous Strand Theater in NJ. It was a packed house. The audience had an incredible energy and it was an exciting night."
Have you ever been backstage with an artist before?
"I have been lucky in my career to share the stage as a section string player or soloist with many amazing artists. My most memorable moments were concerts with Billy Joel, Roger Daltry, Steven Tyler, Josh Groban and Michael Buble."
What is the feeling that comes over you before you walk onto the stage?
"When I walk on stage, I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. Once the first note starts, there is no room for anything but feeling the music!"
Favorite spot to be creative?
"My favorite creative spot is the recording studio. I love being surrounded by the recording equipment and instruments as well as other creative people. I really enjoy bouncing ideas off of people and interacting to achieve something greater than I could have imagined or done myself. It’s a great feeling."
Favorite quote/song/album?
My favorite quote is from violin great Jascha Heifetz:
“Practice like it means everything in the world to you. Perform like you don’t give a damn."
Causes you advocate for?
"I am in the process of creating a foundation called 'Rockin’ for Lupus.' I am trying to build awareness and raise money for research on this debilitating disease."
