Boy Meets Girl® Live to Inspire Feature: Elizabeth Villalobos
What (or who) inspires you?
"As an educator, dancer, and artist, the people around me inspire me. Their colorful, vibrant personalities spark an inner creative energy that I embody on a daily basis. More personally, as a Mexican American woman, my culture and traditions have continued and will continue to inspire, encourage, and fulfill me every day.”
Causes you advocate for?
“I advocate for performing arts and arts education, gender equality, human rights, animal rights, and environmental rights. More specifically, I advocate for the Environmental Movement, Clean DREAM act, National Endowment for the Arts and so much more.”
Where is your favorite place to be creative?
“My favorite place to be creative is in my car! I spend most of my day commuting, which allows me to get in tune with my creative thoughts and processes.”
What do you love about the state you live in?
“I live in Southern California, and beyond its amazing scenery, I love the diversity of people. I love the intermix of fast-paced and slow-driven lifestyles. I love the admix of creative souls and logical minds. Diversification is why I will always love California.”
