Check out some Q&A with her here:
Why do you think it is important to connect a musical performance to a fashion event?
SI: I love collaborating with talented artists. Before I put my own fashion week events on I had amazing store events that I helped curate. I actually put Scratch DJ Academy in touch with Saks Fifth Avenue for a launch party I did there and now I think they are their DJ team of choice. Music keeps me moving. It creates a heartbeat and an energy that sets a pace to an event or show. It is what I love and many times an inspiration for a collection. Tying music into an event is purely natural for me.
You brought Justine Skye to Paris, which was actually her first time performing there. What was that like?
SI: Justine and I joined forces in 2015 for a special Boy Meets Girl NYFW event. That was actually Justine's first time performing for a NYFW event too. I was excited for her to come to Paris with me recently for this collaboration with colette. I wasn't aware Justine had not performed in Paris until that night when she told everyone at the event. She or her mom told me (I forgot now which one it was), "Thank you for inviting us to this amazing event and showing us that we can perform here in the future." The Boy Meets Girl x Care Bears x colette event was a huge success. Lines were wrapped around the corner and Justine's performance touched everyone in the room. It exceeded my expectations.
What is your go-to music when you know you need to "get sh*t done?"
SI: I have an eclectic playlist. It varies as my team knows on my days and mood. Leon Bridges dominates a lot of it...
What artist would you like to bring to your next fashion show/event?
SI: Leon Bridges and crew!
What is the last song you listened to on Spotify (and also, can you share an epic playlist with us 😂)?
SI: "I Got The" by Labi Siffre. The playlist is by DJ Hesta Prynn. She made this for the 2015 NYFW event I talked about above. It was truly a special event. Check out the playlist here---->

Collaborations are your thing. What about working with other creatives and musical artists inspires you?
SI: The energy, the talent, the connection. I live off of this.
Any up & coming artists you would recommend?
SI: Lily Lane!
