Will you be voting by mail or in-person, if so why?

"I will be voting in person and I will be voting early. It is very important to me, so I am driving to Massachusetts from NY next week to do so."

Why do you VOTE?

"I vote to keep my rights and protect my brothers and sisters rights. We aren't free until everyone is free and right now so many communities are being held back and kept down by a system that isn't looking out for them. We need to change that system and the first step in that is voting Donald Trump out of office. It isn't the only step, and even then the work will just be starting, but it is a necessary first step."

Why is it important for others to know to VOTE? 

"The last election was decided by a couple thousand votes. This time 4 years ago polls were saying there was a 90% change Hillary Clinton will win and because of that people didn't show up to actually vote and she lost by a couple thousand votes. You do not want to be one of those votes to be the reason Trump wins because he will continue to do nothing about coronavirus and hundreds of thousands of people will continue to die."

What would you say to someone that says, “My vote doesn’t count?”

"Then your opinion doesn't count either. If you don't vote you don't get to complain about literally anything for the next 4 years."

How are you letting others know about voting, voter registration, and more?

"Encouraging everyone in my life to register and vote, offering rides to anyone needing to get to MA to vote, posting on social media, and I have literally been going on dates and refusing to see people again if they aren't registered to vote." 

Do you believe the youth can make a difference when it comes to voting?

"Young adults can absolutely make a difference by showing up to the polls in as big numbers as they show up to a BTS concert. I think even children who aren't eligible to vote can make a difference by talking to their parents, their teachers, anyone in their lives who can vote and explaining to them what kind of world they want to live in and which candidate will help js get there. We are picking the world the youth will be taking over, they should have a say in it. Talk to your kids, younger siblings etc."

What causes are you the most passionate about when it comes to voting?

"Women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, defunding the police."
