Let's Talk About Voting: Sara Mora

Sara has been a young voice for change. I have had the opportunity to work with Sara since 2018, and she is truly an incredible woman that I am proud of every day.
Sara does not have the opportunity to vote due to being an undocumented immigrant. However, she continues to use her platform to share with you why you should vote, and for that, bravo to Sara.
She is not voiceless, and will not be silenced, and we are incredibly proud of her and the work she has done.

Why is it important for others to know to VOTE?
"It is important for others to know the relevance of their vote especially in a time where chaos overwhelms the thought of being able to make change."
How are you letting others know about voting, voter registration, and more?
"Through GOTV campaigns, free online zoom meetings and through educational content that informs others of their power."
How do you think you can use your voice to make a difference in society?
"By staying true to my individuality. Many times we seek inspiration everywhere except within our own stories. I use my voice and personal experiences to encourage individuality. I can use my voice to make a difference by continuing to uplift the power of storytelling, narrative and decentralizing narratives."
Do you believe the youth can make a difference when it comes to voting?
"Absolutely. I believe the youth can make a difference and are in fact making the difference. There was so much information about voting, despite the overwhelming reality, many young people are still turning out to vote."
What causes are you the most passionate about when it comes to voting?
"I am most passionate about education, healthcare at the intersection of migrants rights, women’s rights, general migrant rights, workers rights."
