Muse of the Week: Abigail Jorgensen
For the past six years, Abigail Jorgensen has been developing close personal and professional relationships with some of the most influential people in the entertainment industry. After two years of owning her own PR and Marketing Company in NYC, Abigail transitioned to consulting, curating experiences for high-net-worth clients and reputable companies, eventually resulting in the launch of her own company, Every Verge Matters (EVM).
Focusing on original and thought-provoking projects and collaborations, EVM delivers more than extraordinary adventures—they create conversations that lead to new perspectives. From the thrill of a new beginning, to the comfort of reuniting with old friends, they believe we are all on the verge of what matters most. What matters most at EVM is connecting your clients with the kind of unforgettable experiences that define a life lived to the fullest.
I met Abigail six years ago and I will never forget that first meeting. Abigail is a ray of sunshine. Her positivity truly is infectious. When I asked her causes she advocates for she answered, "Positivity. There is so much negativity in the world. My friends call me the “Positivity Pusher,” always encouraging people to spread good vibes and positive thoughts. I figure there are enough people fighting for gun violence, climate change & empowering girls, but not enough people encouraging and pushing others to be positive." La Vie Bohème! I am excited for you to get to know Abigail. Check out my BTS Q&A below. Thank you Abigail for being our Muse of the Week and being you always! xo, Stacy
1. Are you a subway or car (via, uber, lyft) girl?
I always prefer to walk. It gives me alone time to think between meetings.
2. Favorite spot to be creative?
In NYC, Tartine Cafe. Outside of NYC, my mother’s kitchen table in the house I grew up in.
3. Causes you advocate for?
Positivity. There is so much negativity in the world. My friends call me the “Positivity Pusher,” always encouraging people to spread good vibes and positive thoughts. I figure there are enough people fighting for gun violence, climate change & empowering girls, but not enough people encouraging and pushing others to be positive.
4. Favorite quote?
“I urge you to travel. As far and as much as possible. Work ridiculous shifts to save your money. Go without the latest iPhone. Throw yourself out of your comfort zone. Find out how other people live & realize that the world is a much bigger place than the town you live in. And when you come home, home may still be the same, and yes, you may go back to the same old job, but something in your mind will have changed. And trust me, that changes everything.” I always tell my friends...GO JUST!
5. Tell us about the last moment you shared with someone?
I had a magical date that ended with us dancing to Frank Sinatra in the park. Super old school - as someone who loves to dance, this was the best moment of the summer. #HopelessRomantic
